Jack Cronin
Jack Cronin, the Executive Producer at XX Sports 1090 and San Diego 1700, is entering his 2nd year as the host of the San Diego Padres Pre-Game Show.  Cronin recently wrapped up his 3rd year as the Play-By-Play Voice of USD Football, his 4th year as the Play-By-Play Announcer of the High School Football Game of the Week, and is in his 6th Season as the Voice of San Diego State Baseball.  And this year, for the first time in San Diego, Cronin served as the Play-By-Play Announcer for San Diego 1700’s coverage of High School Basketball…
 
Jack Cronin has hosted the “College Football Gameday Show” each of the last 4 years and this year he will help anchor XX 1090’s NFL Draft Coverage for the 5th straight time. Cronin, 27, has served as the Fill-In Play-By-Play Voice of both USD & San Diego State & Basketball, as well as the Basketball Pre-Game & Post-Game Show host, and the Sideline Reporter for San Diego State Football.  He recently served on his first National Radio Broadcast, as the Play-By-Play Announcer for the 2008 Men’s West Coast Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament on Satellite Radio here in San Diego.
 
On the Television side, Cronin spent 3 years as a Play-By-Play Announcer and Analyst for Time Warner Cable, covering High School Football, Basketball & Volleyball in San Diego. He also previously served as the Internet Play-By-Play Voice of the UCSD Men's & Women's Basketball teams, and as the voice of the San Diego Surf Dawgs Minor League Baseball team.
 
Cronin graduated from the University of California in 2005 with a degree in Integrative Biology. While at Cal, he served as Sports Director at KALX Radio, and was the Play-By-Play voice of five different Cal sports.  He was the Lead Announcer for three seasons of Cal Football, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Baseball and Ice Hockey games.

Darryl Sykes
Darryl Sykes has been involved with numerous shows in every capacity for the last 6 years at XX 1090.  Known as a guy that can do it all, Darryl has hosted shows, produced, engineered and has served as a color commentator for numerous sports.  Darryl is in his 4th year as the host of the “College Football Gameday show” and has co-hosted many shows with numerous titles within the last 6 years.  A rare native San Diegan, Darryl finds himself working in the same city where he grew up and developed his rooting interest for his hometown teams.   
 
Darryl is known as the “Man on the Streets” for the Scott and BR morning show on XX 1090.  He has served as the color commentator for Time Warner Cables High School game of the week on Television as well as multiple years on radio in the same capacity.   
 
Darryl also serves as the Director of Promotions for XX 1090 AM, The New 105.7 the Walrus and San Diego 1700 AM. 
Ted Mendenhall
Ted cut his teeth at Palomar College where he broadcasted sports of all kinds from football (during the Tom Craft era) to baseball to men's and women's hoops and softball. He has developed into a "jack of all trades" at XX 1090 working behind the scenes as a producer and on the air co-hosting College Football Gameday, Padres pre and post game shows along with play-by-play and color commentary for high school football and basketball.
 
Ted has also done play-by-play for Aztec baseball and just finished his third year calling UCSD men's and women's basketball.
 
Ted is born and raised in San Diego and loves the Padres and Chargers. For some unknown reason he also roots for the St. Louis Cardinals and Florida State football.
