The Broadcast Company of The Americas is pleased to announce the addition of Lee “Hacksaw” Hamilton to the talent lineup on Double X 1090 Sports Radio.  Hamilton’s show will air Monday through Friday from 3pm to 7pm, beginning on Monday, October 5, 2009

BCA Vice President of Programming/Operations Jack Evans says of the legendary San Diego sports figure;

“I guess my Mom did raise a fool! Maybe the second time around will be different.  But, probably not.”

Hamilton is pleased to be back on center stage with former employers Evans and John Lynch.

"Afternoon drive sports-talk, a 50,000-watt signal, Padres baseball, and an all-star lineup.  What a great combination.  John Lynch created sport-stalk radio in San Diego, Jack Evans programmed it. It is great to re-link with them. It’s time to recreate the magic."   

BCA President and CEO John Lynch said, “I told Jack no, but apparently he didn’t hear me!” Lynch added, “Now that he is here, I remember vividly the day Hacksaw came to interview to become the play-by-play voice of the Chargers and introduce San Diego’s first sports talk station in 1987. He has been a central part of the San Diego sports scene ever since.”
