Jack Cronin

Jack Cronin, the Executive Producer at XX1090, enters his 1^st year as the host of the Padres Pre-Game Show. Cronin recently wrapped up his 2^nd year as the play-by-play voice of USD Football, his 3^rd year as the play-by-play announcer of the High School Football Game of the Week, and is in his 5^th Season as the voice of San Diego State Baseball.

Cronin, 26, is on the air as the morning drive sports anchor and the host of the "The Jack and Darryl Show" on the weekends with Darryl Sykes. He has hosted the "College Football Gameday Show" each of the last three years and this year he anchored XX1090's NFL Draft Coverage for the 4^th straight time.

In addition, Cronin has served as the fill-in play-by-play voice of both USD and San Diego State basketball, as well as the Basketball Pre-Game and Post-Game Show host, and the sideline reporter for San Diego State football. He recently served on his first National Radio Broadcast, as the play-by-play announcer for the 2008 Men's West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Tournament on Satellite Radio here in San Diego.

On the television side, Cronin is in his 3^rd year as a play-by-play announcer and analyst for Time Warner Cable, covering high school football, basketball and volleyball.

Cronin has also previously served as the play-by-play voice of the UCSD Men's & Women's Basketball teams and voice of the San Diego Surf Dawgs Minor League Baseball team.

Cronin graduated from the University of California in 2005 with a degree in Integrative Biology. While at Cal, he served as Sports Director at KALX Radio, and was the play-by-play voice of five different Cal sports.  He was the lead announcer for three seasons of Cal football, men's and women's basketball, baseball and ice hockey games.
